about Paul Nolan or PNO (pee-no) to his friends is an Australian based letterer, designer, illustrator who in fact loves Pinot (Noir). He has worked with some of the countries most respected design studio's and has won numerous awards both within Australia and overseas including; BAD (Brisbane Art Directors, QLD) AWARD (NSW) and MADC (Melbourne Art Director Club, VIC). Paul recently took out the highest typographic accolade at MADC 2011. He has also won ADGA (Australian Graphic Design Association) awards, Pinnacle, Judges Choice and Comendations. His work has been featured in Graphis and other industry publications and magazines. He has been invited to judge at various awards and has been a guest speaker and design tutor.
Typography, design and fine art endeavours are my focus and passion in life. Experimentation is critical to the way in which I like to work as this allows me freedom to explore possibilities and ultimately arrive at a unique place or solution.
